At least every four years schools are moderated by the Local Authority with regards to their assessments— this is for end of Foundation stage, end of KS1 and end of KS2. Last week our early years was moderated and I would like to express my thanks to the Reception team for making it such a positive experience by being so professional and well-prepared. They were praised for how well they know the children and their very accurate judgements. Well done and thank you!

 

In addition, a big ‘well done’ to Mrs Peters who organised a fantastic interiors sale on Saturday with all proceeds going to New Brainstorm School. It was great to see so many staff supporting her so my thanks to them as well as to Natalie Reid-Hughes for all that she did to prepare, promote and support on the day.
