Welcome to the summer term.

This is a very exciting term in Reception.  The children are confident to follow their lines of enquiry and use their knowledge in all areas of the curriculum independently.  

Now the children have been taught all the single letter sounds and the set 2 sounds; they can write most words phonetically and independently using their phonic knowledge.

We will be welcoming some hatching chicks this term.  The children will participate in Sports Day and we will all be going on a school trip together.  

During this term we will also introduce the children to the Year 1 space and staff through different transition activities.
