The school planted a Jubilee Hedge along the boundary with The Alfred Major Recreation Ground earlier this year. This consisted of 60 hedging plants and 1 Royal Oak sapling donated as part of the Woodlands trust Jubilee project. Cookham Parish Council also donated 100 extra trees and by November 2012 all the families that have attended the school in this historic year will have planted a tree as part of this hedge. We have recorded our planting on the Jubilee Woods website.This recording will go into a special book that will be presented to H.M. The Queen.
