We created our own salt dough using flour, salt and water. We then used our plastic dinosaurs to make our own dinosaur fossils. They look great!
We have been loving the snow in Elm Class. We have created some super meals in our 'snow kitchen'!

Elm class thoroughly enjoyed their opportunity to run to raise funds for the NSPCC. Their perseverance to keep going was remarkable. The adults were all so proud of each and every child. Well done Elm Class!
Elm Class enjoyed their visit from Nicola Reowsell. They created some great artwork while exploring ink printing.
Elm Class have taken a lot of time and care, looking carefully at each other's facial features, and have drawn wonderful pencil portraits.
Elm Class are busy creating planet mobiles. There are many important steps in this process and the children were delighted to discover one step was measuring and sawing wood to the correct size.

We are all loving our new topic 'Space' in Elm Class. The children enjoyed acting out our solar system of planets orbiting the sun in our pe lesson.
The children have been so proud of their super home learning about space and their own rocket creations. They look fantastic displayed in the classroom.
We were all very excited when Father Christmas came to visit Elm Class. He checked on his laptop from Lapland and we were all on his good list!
Our new topic in Elm Class is Toys. We have loved welcoming our toys into our class this week to open our topic. We treated them to a little teddy bears picnic and made some jam sandwiches. Yum!
We had great fun putting on our Halloween costumes at school. We enjoyed a little play in them before the disco.
As part of our fairy tale topic, we have all had a taste of some porridge just like Goldilocks. Most of us thought it was delicious and ate it all up!
In our first term in Elm Class we will be basing our learning experiences on 'All About Me, Nursery Rhymes and Traditional Tales'.
