Food Glorious Food!
We are so enjoying our current topic of "Food Glorious Food" and recently read the story "Each Peach Pear Plum" by Alan Ahlberg. The tale finishes with all of the characters sharing a delicious plum pie. With the help of some kind helping mums, the children made a giant plum pie which we baked over the lunchtime period. It nearly took a whole hour! In the afternoon, we shared the plum pie outside and even had some left over.
