Dear families,

Wednesday and Thursday of this week are our Pirate Days, this is an opportunity for the children to have fun and hopefully learn a little bit about pirates along the way. We are asking the children to dress up as pirates and upload pictures of their day. We hope that a simple t-shirt and shorts with a headscarf will be an easy choice of outfit. They will be asked to complete 5 tasks from a choice of activities (over the 3 days – but of course we would love to see many more!) and we hope that none of the activities cause any added stress regarding resources or ingredients!

 

We were due to be going on our summer school trip to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and planning to visit HMS Victory, unfortunately this can not happen at the moment but on Friday we are exploring HMS Victory Virtually and with the help from Claire Hargreaves, Learning Producer at National Museum of the Royal Navy will have a virtual tour along with access to some lovely resources.
