Summer homework project

Please see attached for details of the summer homework project.

We'll Meet Again

Our summer term topic sees us turn our attention to life on the Home Front during the Second World War. We launched with a 1940s dressing up day on 23rd April.

For more details of our curriculum journey, books to read and places to visit, check out the Topic web and letter to parents below.

Not sure what to read - take a look at this website for lots of recommended book titles from the last 100 years!
Welcome to Willow 6. Please take time to read this guide to your new class for parents/carers and children.

Our weekly timetable is shown below. Mrs Bennett teaches Monday to Thursday and Mrs Parris on a Friday.

Please note that PE days are Monday (indoor fitness circuits and benchball) and Thursday (outdoor). Please encourage your child to have the correct PE kit in school so that they can participate fully in the lessons.

The library is visited every fortnight on a Wednesday.

Children who are not taking part in the Literacy intervention programme Fresh Start  are now reading Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz  as their Guided Reading book.
