I’m Hardeep Singh and our son goes to Cookham Rise Primary School. I am an IT Programme Manager with experience in NHS, Utilities, Telecoms and Start-up companies. A personal goal was to be more actively involved with my kids’ education, so I joined Friends of the Rise (FOR) and subsequently became the Chairman of FOR. This was a great introduction to the school, allowing me to meet great staff and great parents but I’ve always wanted to know “how the school works”, so I decided to become a Parent Governor!
