  Another year comes to a close and it is time to say goodbye to a lovely group of Year 6 children. It has been a privilege to see them learning and maturing over the past seven years and see them now ready to leave us and move on to their secondary schools where many fantastic opportunities and experiences await.   It is lovely that this newsletter is dominated by ‘thank yous’ and ‘well dones’ recently and today is no different. Our summer fair yesterday was really fantastic and on behalf of everyone in the school a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who made that happen—in particular the core group of PTA members and Year 5 parents. Whilst everyone’s support on the day is vital the work that goes into planning, preparing and clearing up is the part not always seen and appreciated—so if you were part of this I am very grateful and appreciative! It looks as though somewhere in the region of £5000 was raised, a truly fantastic amount. Read more.......
