  This is my final newsletter of the term and so a chance to say some heartfelt thank yous. First of all my thanks to Mrs McDermott for all that she has done for Cookham Rise—we wish her well at her new school. I would also like to welcome Mrs Conroy back from maternity leave.

  We really enjoyed meeting our new children last week and send a warm welcome to all of the new families joining us. This week we welcome them back and all of the children get to spend Tuesday morning with their new class teacher. Most of our Year 6 pupils will head off to their new secondary schools and we wish them all the very best as they start to get to know their new schools—I am sure they will make us proud!
