  Mrs Cross and Mrs Hampton sadly leave us at the end of this week and so we will be saying our goodbyes on Friday. There is a special message for them both on page 4 but it goes without saying that we are hugely grateful for all they have done for Cookham Rise throughout their many years of service and wish them the happiest of retirements.

  Wow! A fantastic Christmas Fair thank you so much to everyone involved. Preliminary figures show that somewhere in the region of £3,100 has been raised which is an amazing amount.

  December has arrived and with it lots of lovely events in school—please keep an eye on the school calendar. A lot of work has gone into organising the Christmas Fair and many thanks for the contributions made on Friday for the toy and bottle tombolas. I hope you will be able to join us at 3pm on Friday. More details about collection arrangements can be found on page 4 as well as the Fair itself on page 5.
