Ration day was a success yesterday, lots of the 'fussy eaters' tried things they thought they might not like, and actually everyone ate well. The children thoroughly enjoyed the range of activities including the museum, the ride in the dodge vehicle, the farm, the Blitz experience and fire-fighting. All the children have taken their turn in carrying out house-keeping chores - they can all do it, so parents, capitalise on this! Thankfully everyone slept well last night, and we're currently awaiting breakfast which includes scrambled eggs Everyone is packed, rooms are clear, let VE day celebrations commence

First day at Lincolnsfield!

Beech 5 arrived safely at the Lincolnsfield Centre this morning around 10.15am. We've had a busy day exploring the site and settling into our rooms; for some children, the first experience of making up a bed with bed sheets - interesting results to say the least! We have just come out of the dinner hall (everybody ate well!) and are currently writing our diaries for the day. Shortly, we will be enjoying the soft play area before hopefully(!?) a good night's sleep!
