Important Information

Our KS1 Sports Day fun run activities will be happening on Wednesday 15th July. On the non-core planning it does say this week, but please be reassured it will be happening next week.

Thank you.

Children who will not be coming into school:

Each week I will upload grids of activities for English, Maths and non-core to be completed throughout  the week. Please choose an activity from each grid everyday. The activities set will reflect what we are doing in the classroom. It would be great to see uploads onto SeeSaw. There are 6 activities for you to choose from. If you would like a challenge/extension, then please complete all 6 tasks.  I will be uploading the non-core activity grid on Wednesday this week. The RWI YouTube channel are continuing with the speed sounds lessons which I will attach below. Please keep going over set 2 and 3 sounds. Joe Wicks is also continuing PE lessons every day.

Children who will be coming into school:

Please choose one activity from the non-core grid every day. Please make sure you complete a variety of Topic and other non-core tasks throughout the week. The non-core grid will consist of Topic, Science, RE, Art and DT, PE, IT, Life Skills tasks (the children will be completing their English and Maths tasks during their school session). The activities will vary from creative tasks, watching an informative video clip, or a short fun talking task etc. This grid will be uploaded on Wednesday, however normally ready for you on Monday morning.  If you would like a challenge/extension, then please complete all 6 tasks.

Brain Break recording

Mrs Rogers has kindly recorded a brain break for children to do. We do these 3 times a day to help children calm and focus. I suggest you do them before any set task.
