I have been a Governor at Cookham Rise for 10 years, initially as a parent Governor and now as a co-opted Governor and Chair of the Finance Committee. I am married with 2 Sons, both of whom attended Cookham Rise. They are both very different and how the teachers adapted and helped each of them is a testament to not only the skills they have but also to the Senior Leadership team. 

I am a semi-retired IT professional and also run Property and Investment businesses. 

Having started out in the School PTA, becoming Chair for 4 years and then moving on to becoming a School Governor, I find it enjoyable to give back to the school to help overcome the many challenges the school faces, where I can.
