The Spring term topic is ATTACK!

We will be covering nearly 1000 years of British history from the time of the Roman invasion, to the settlement of Anglo-Saxons and Vikings through to the Norman invasion and the Battle of Hastings in 1066.

We kick off our topic on 11th January with a workshop led by a sculptor from Norden Farm who will be showing us how to create 3D models using wire, clay and fabric.

Later in the term (7th Feb) we will be visiting the Verulamium (Roman musuem) near St Albans with its hypocaust and Roman ampitheatre. We will also get the opportunity to handle some real Roman artefacts - including ear and nose cleaners!
