Just a quick note to say to you, Mrs Hunter, what a joy it has been to me to see my son begin school under such a brilliant team. It has brought back memories of my own schooling which were full of happiness. I'm so glad you have let me join your community at Cookham Rise with open arms. I look forward, as a parent, to helping the school continue to flourish.

We have loved out time at this wonderful school and are all extremely sad to be leaving it behind. Both of my children have had an amazing education, not just academically but the emphasis on kindness, manners, wider ecological issues and world issues has produced such thoughtful, wonderful children.

Thank you so much for making my sons last year at primary school so stimulating, challenging and rewarding. We have really seen him grow in maturity and feel he is very well prepared for life at secondary school.

My partner and I are delighted with our son's progress at Cookham Rise Primary School. He runs in enthusiastically every morning because he has a great teaching team which he adores and there is a very nurturing attitude in his class. As parents we really like the caring and inclusive atmosphere of the school and the fact that the school strongly values the development of social as well as academic skills. We are also very impressed with the high quality of communication and leadership at the school.

I am writing to thank you for letting me come to your school for work experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my week and got a really good feel of what working as a teacher is like. I would particularly like to thank the staff and pupils in Year 4 as they made me feel very welcome and confident.
