Welcome to Year 3!

We are very excited to be working with you and your children this year. Below is some key information about our class. At Cookham Rise, topics are taught on a two year rolling program of themes. Our topic this term is Through the ages (Stone age to Iron age). We will also teach Literacy, maths, science, music, PE, computing, life skills and RE, but these are taught separately with links to our topic.

Helpful information:

We will teach PE on a Tuesday and Thursday

Children will need to bring their kits into school on Monday. 

A visual timetable is accessible to all children so that they are aware of the activities planned for the day.

Every day, children have a morning break, lunch time and regular brain breaks. 

Weekly curriculum letters are sent home so parents can have a better understanding of what has been completed in class (See Seesaw).

Work is uploaded to Seesaw to help celebrate the children's achievements. 

Homework will be set every Monday, due the following Monday. 

Our behaviour policy follows three main rules: Ready, Respectful and Safe.
