Sunday 7th February 2016 - Cookham Rise Primary at Holy Trinity Church
Our Head Boy and Head Girl spoke to the congregation at the 11am service about our links with New Brainstorm School, explaining how our involvement grew out of an initial visit to Kampala by Mrs Peters and her husband.
Along with the Head Girl and Head Boy was Mrs Rogers' wonderful choir. All the children helped Mr Rhodes lead the church with our thoughts and prayers. Also, Mrs Henwood - a parent at the school - sang magnificently to introduce our theme: "Wonderful World".

A massive thank you from New Brainstorm School when they discovered that, between the children of Cookham Rise Primary School and Empower a Child UK, $9600 had been raised to buy NBS 2-acres of land to build a new school on. Now we need to raise the funds to provide drainage, sanitation and - yes - build the new New Brainstorm School!
