While grammar school transfer tests (formerly known as the 11+) are not formally undertaken by RBWM, Cookham Rise Primary School does act as a test centre for those of our pupils wishing to transfer to a secondary school in Buckinghamshire.

MOVING UP TO SECONDARY SCHOOL IN SEPTEMBER 2017

Children born between 1 September 2005 and 31 August 2006 will be moving up to secondary school in September 2017.

Please see below the dates which have now been published for next year’s transfer testing: 

• Preparation Test – Tuesday 13^th September 2016
• Transfer Test – Thursday 15^th September 2016
• Release of Transfer Test results (Qualification Day) – Friday 14^th October 2016
• Application Deadline - 31st October 2016
• School Place Offers - 1st March 2017
• Start Secondary School - September 2017
