The PE and Sport Allocation (Sport Premium) is funding provided to schools in addition to the main school funding. The Government’s aim is to secure a lasting legacy to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London. The funding is ring-fenced and can only be spent on the provision of PE and sport in school.

For details of key objectives and proposed spending to support these objectives for each year, plus an analysis of impact, please see documents below.

We are committed to utilising the Sport Premium funding to maximise the long-term impact and sustainability of PE provision for all children at Cookham Rise. As a result, our aim is to use funding to invest in high quality training for staff (both teachers and support staff), equipment to deliver quality lessons and play times, as well as providing a range of sporting opportunities - both competitive and non-competitive for all children.
