  Children in Years 1—6 will have brought their first report of the year home on Friday. This is just one brief page to indicate how your child has settled into this new academic year with regards to attitude to learning and behaviour. We will report on reading, writing and maths in December and then at the end of each term.

  We are starting the week with a very exciting day supported by Enterprise Challenge. The children are going to be using many of the skills we are working on, such as great teamwork, to solve a crime that took place in school this morning! I look forward to sharing some photos with you next week.

  Many thanks to all of you who donated cakes last Friday and also those who came along to buy them! We will let you know how much was raised for MacMillan once the money has been counted. Huge thanks to Sally who once again organised this. It was lovely to see the cabin being used and I’m sorry I was not able to be there.
